Love, is an expression that goes beyond your partner; it's an expression that can be extended to family, friends, neighbours, colleagues, to anyone, to show how much you care!
‘Love’ to Neetu Ojha , Mumbai, India,‘is a leap of faith’. An expression that I can accurately apply to the friendship Neetu & I share. When she moved in as my new neighbour; naturally we both were apprehensive as to who & what it was going to be like. It surely was a leap of faith Moving on with trust, our friendship jumped leaps and bounds over the past 15 years; creating memories over two generations. Bonding over ‘ginger tea’ on matters that we can, and always will, be able to connect with and cherish. This leap of faith that you took surely worked Neetu, bless you for that.
Friendship & love can also be ‘Beautiful yet painful, it can bring happiness as well as sadness’ so simply put by Saba Ahmed, UK, my bestie from school. However, it can be complex and intense. It is this very nature of love that causes us to forgive, forget, move on & to maintain bonds that can last a lifetime. When was the last time you revived a friendship with a school or college friend, talking about the fun things you did back then? Think about doing it this week….
